I am a highly motivated and compassionate NDIS Support Coordinator with a strong background in dementia advocacy, lived experience, and community leadership. I am committed to empowering people living with disability to navigate the NDIS with confidence, while promoting choice, dignity, and independence.
I bring practical experience in supporting participants to understand their NDIS plans, connect with appropriate services, and build supports that are flexible, sustainable, and aligned with their individual goals. My approach is person-centred, collaborative, and grounded in strong communication and trust.
As the founder of the Blacktown Dementia Action Group and co-creator of the Living Hub, I have led initiatives that build connection, raise awareness, and create more inclusive, dementia-friendly communities. I have also contributed to key initiatives including Dementia Reconnect and Face Dementia, supporting community engagement and education.
I am a peer leader in the Dementia Australia Connecting Peers program and an active member of the Western Sydney Dementia Alliance. In recognition of my work, I was awarded the Blacktown City Council 2023 Disability Award for Inspirational Person of the Year.
I have completed specialised training through Dementia Training Australia, including Quality Dementia Care: A Standards-Based Approach, The Pain Puzzle: Recognition, Assessment and Treatment of Pain in People Living with Dementia, and Decoding Delirium. I have also contributed to work presented at Neuroscience Next, receiving recognition for excellence in promotion.
I am passionate about advocacy, inclusion, and improving access to supports for people living with disability. I bring a unique combination of lived experience, leadership, and practical knowledge, with a strong focus on achieving meaningful outcomes for participants and their families.
